Hey once again Mike excellent knees and shoulder. I sure hope you don't mind me posting pics of my shoulder bell here. Sadly it is painted and and weathered so it doesn't look as perfect as Mike's but here it is. I vac formed painted and weathered it today. Sadly I had to completely destroy the mold to get it out. But it was made of floral foam and woodfiller I will just make a plaster cast of thise one. Hey Mike! Do you think I should show this over at bikerscout.net? Do you think anyone would be interested? Comments?

I sealed the mold with primer when I should have sealed it with enamel paint so the primer stuck to the mold and had that rough texture wich makes a miniature vacuum with the mold and the plastic and I HAD to bust it apart to get it out.
But Mike give me suggestions on it. Do you think it looks good? Do you think I should introduce it at biker.net?

I would have made a plaster casting of the mold before I cut the part out. But it can be done when it's cut out. It will just take a bit longer, and you'll have to babysit it while you do it.
Aside from that, the part looks great! That side view blew me away! I want to see it on you, though. Hold it up to your arm and get someone to take a pic.
The weathering looks great as well. What did you do? Also, what color choice did you decide on for your GM paint?

I would suggest doing a BARC paint up for the folks over there.

Well Captain for the paint job I used Krylon Burgandy Gloss. Then when the paint is still drying I mixed in some flat black to make it really dark the from really far away i dusted it with the burgandy again. the paint comes out more red but a darker overall color than the Claret Wine so I am really happy with it. As far as weathering I followed the steps you posted over at ct.net but instead of useing black I used black green and the white has some tan and brown and blackgreen in it.
I couldn't believe about the mold tho. It made me so mad that I couldn't get it out and actually there are still some parts of the mold stuck to the bottom of my peice. But I actually wanted to cut it before i poured the peice because then I could get the exact shape I wanted and then make the mold a better shape with some clay. I know it is confusing but it makes sense to me.
I will get some pics on my arm with my bicep peice as soon as I can. But hey my BARC project officially starts today I am going to make me a set of BARC shoulder bells and I am going to make one of my GM knee molds have the grooves in it so i can make me a pair of acurate knees. After I have these done I will sign up over at biker.net and whow off my stuff. Please keep in mind tho that my main priority is the GM and I will be most active over here. Now any one who is interested in getting a set of anything please PM me as soon as you can and tell me when you want it by. Thanks Preston
