Tomorrow, I'll be searching for material for undersuits.
Here's the plan:
Style: I'll Start with a basic overall pattern and mod it to eliminate unwanted seams and produce a tighter mid-section.
Material: I'm looking for grey denim. I'm going this route for a couple reasons. First, I want a fabric with some weight to it, but is also able to breath. Second, since the GM's wear the same shoes as Jango, I'm banking on the idea that the ILM fabric gurus thought it prudent to mimic the material used on Jango's jumpsuit as well. I could be way off, but I like the properties of denim for this piece too much not to try it.
I'll prototype it, ask for suggestions and mod if needed. I will definitely need your feedback.

You might want to get a lighter material. Think of trooping in the summer time. Mine is pretty light but not too light weight. Loose and in layers remember your training Marine:-)

Just to be clear, brother, while I am looking for denim, it will not be anything as thick or heavy as blue jeans. That wouldn't look or move properly, IMO.

Denim sounds like a great idea. Blue jeans aren't really even that hot in the summer (at least not for me) and if you're going even lighter than that there should be no problems.

Yeah I like that idea. I think ,weight aside, it would be VERY comfortable.

Score!Well, I found something today.Turns out, it's not denim after all. It 's a cotton blend with a nice thickness and weight to it. The one I like best is all the way to the right in this pic:Here is a close-up:I'll try to make some progress on the undersuit this weekend. It may be difficult with the holiday though.

I think that's definitely the best match for color, of the three. Great find

I think that's definitely the best match for color, of the three. Great find Thanx brother. You know, now that I look at those pics, it's occurred to me that I should have taken a non-close-up pic. The ones I posted make it look like the fabric is too textured. They were just taken with a macro focus. I'll have to back off a bit and get one from a normal distance.

That shirt looks good is that the correct color? It sucks I'm color blind & have to ask everyone about colors, if the rest of the guys think these is a good fit I might buy one too.

I posted over at CT.net but will do so here....
There has been lots of discussion as to what color the shirt and gloves are. Mygeeto is so dark you can't tell if it is grey like the coveralls or black?!?!
I am personally going with black until Lucas decides to let us know.....

I have argued this before. I am very convinced that the undershirt and gloves are grey. Look closely at the right elbow and wrist. Also, it is clear to me that at least the gloves are grey. But as has been said many time before, we are all working off a computer model that is not lit very well. It is slightly open to interpretaion. I would accept anything from grey to black. I personally have decided on grey, matching the color of the pants.

Or they could be a black gloves that could be "weathered" w/ dark gray fabric paint. (same goes for the under shirt)
