Yeah I'm the same size. I don't see a major problem other then closing it up on the sides. I've added to the sides and need to finish it.

I ordered my chest and back plate from Mr.Laws tonight. I can't wait to get them and begin work on this new costume.

I used Krylon Satin Burgandy red. Laws stuff is SWEET for sure. Hey how are you planning on closing the sides? I know your about 6 feet tall right?

closing the sides was thinking about using a piece of vinal under the armor like a free floating shim to connect via velcro or snaps the two that way theres no black gap in sides

I'm going seemless. I glued in two pieces of ABS and will cut, bondo and shape to have a small gap like my Ep2 Clone. I'll then velcro from the inside. I'm going above and beyond though......

Got my armor in the mail today. Incredible simply incredible. I am a bigger guy so, I will have to see how it fits once I have more of the costume though.

I just got my LAWS chest and back today. I was wondering if any of you had a picture of how you attached the chest and back to each other. I have some ideas, but I really would like to see what others have done before I mess it up.

Not too sure. I will find out when I finally put my order in, but from what I hear he is very swamped right now and he has a backorder for a couple of months.

Toyhunter: I would need to see what you are using for straps. I have a set of stormtrooper (regular TK) straps that I painted the same color as my chest and back plates. I will be attaching them directly to the chest and back plates (maybe with a little extra foam underneath them for shoulder support). I haven't done it yet, but what I would do (and will try when I get there) is glue on the straps to the backplate (this wouldn't matter if they are soft straps, but mine are hard plastic straps) first, and then put it on (or hold it on). While doing that, have someone help you just hold the chest plate over top of that to see where it will rest (naturally, that's the key), for a perfect fit, then glue. That's what am probably going to do, unless someone comes up with better shoulder straps that are easy to paint.
