Hello Marines,
I would like to know if you have information regarding participating in other garrison's 501st events.
For example in SW Weekends in Orlando, do the local garrison allow you to participate in the parade?, do they have limited quota of volunteers fulfilled by themseleves?, or they try to have people from other garrisons?. And in these cases, do the garrison have any requirements or other limitations, like only accepting members with xx years in the legion, or anything like that?
Thank you very much guys.

There shouldn't be a problem. You should speak with your GML though, ahead of time just to be safe. As long as you are member with your ID tag (or other form of legion ID you should be fine). It's possible another legion member or Garrison can sponsor you. I'm not too sure since I have never been to Star Wars weekends (due to the fact that I live on the other side of the country) and we don't have them at Disneyland, CA. I have been to the Last Tour to Endor at WDW for CV though, and there were no problem with people in costume (I guess since it was a special event).

I would go through either your Garrison GML or CO, to contact the Florida Garrison CO. How we do it in Carida is for someone on command to contact the CO of the host Garrison and let them know there will be a member of a visiting Garrison in attendance. That way you have proof of attendance and you get credit for the troop.
