Is there a template or design for the faceplate? I could make my own but if a correct template exists I'd rather use that. Haven't found one yet though.

Why not just purchase a GM helmet from SGB? The build for this costume is hard enough as it is.

Why not just purchase a GM helmet from SGB? The build for this costume is hard enough as it is. If you do decide to go with a helmet from a vendor, I would recommend an HS helmet instead...MUCH more accurate. As for your faceplate, you're off to a good start but you need to reassess your eyes. They shouldn't be connected, they are actually separate albeit very close together

Irecommend the HS Helmet as well it is the GM BOMB!!!! RKD is correct the eye lens do not touch they are completely seperated.

Exactly. My approach was similar to yours: the helmet and face plate are separated and I also had to trim the size and separation of the eyes by moving the face plate up and down. In your case that will also help to make the eyes smaller since they look a little big right now.
