It seems like a lot of members here haven't been on in a long time, at least judging by their last made posts. Just wondering if things are slow or what not.

Nah not slow buddy I think its called life LOL People pop in and out of doing costumes especially if they have more than one on the go and even have breaks away from the whole thing cos they have other things to do I guess. As long as there are people coming back and forth the 53rd fire will still be alight and acting as a beacon to the lost GMs out there. Ther are a good hard core of GMs on here and long may it grow !

Agreed. Although I hate to admit there have been some members who no longer post, most are usually busy with other activities such as school, work, and even families. Some members usually log on and only send PMs (I know a few), others would log on and not even post as a topic they may be in need of info might not have anything. There are a few who have an interest in the armor and register, but due to budget, financial, and or other monetary reasons can't afford armor and not post anymore until they are more stable. Some might even be timid, low on people skills, or just plain shy and only read posts.
When I first became a member, my first few posts were almost a year after I registered, and I knew of this message board almost a year before that. Now I'm almost on here on a daily basis. Also, as Boba mentioned...there are a few members that work on multiple armor builds at a time so it may be a few months in between while they work on their GMs. Don't worry Duke, there are even a few former Marines that have parted with their armor builds that return here from time to time.

Mate don't be put off, I know it looks slow but its not if you have any questions post them up someone will answer it may not be straight away but someone will. I know for myself I'am a member of about 6 other Detachment forums so it gets hard to spread yourself between these family life and work.

Alright just checking. A lot of the work I saw that was really good (for example snowflake's sintra armor) was several years old, and the authors didn't seem to be on recently. But as long as there's someone on here to answer my questions haha. Keep up the amazing work, hopefully I'll get as good as you guys someday.

Snowflake started his build quite some time ago, and recently finished his build less than a year ago which he shared the news here on the 53rd before any other board such as CT.N. As I mentioned before, I'm on here almost on a daily basis, and have no intention on leaving our site. Can't wait to see your build as it develops. Soon, your GM will be looking immaculate! ...We'll make sure of that.

I too belong too many boards and currently working on many different costumes. A sith lord, storm commando, and most recently received my ARC clone armor,so I'm also working on that. So,at the moment,I'm over on CT.net alot. But I always find my way back here eventually.
