I am not in anyway trying to "flame" Youngling by posting this here. What I am attempting to do is inform the other members of the 53rd that there is an issue with ethical buiz practice of another 53rd memeber. I have exhausted my resources in trying to contact Youngling concerning my items without any response from him. I feel that I have no other choice but to bring this to everyones attention.
Here is my PM to Youngling:
Ok Vod I haven't heard from you since November 8th when you told me two things. First you said that you were going to ship the knees and shoulders in a week. Second you told me to PM you everyday. I felt it would be overkill to do so and didn't.
It has been 20 days since you told me you were going to ship them out and I still haven't gotten them. I have a good understanding of the working knowledge of the US Postal Service since I have been selling on Ebay since 1997. I understand things take time to come across the USA and with the Thanksgiving holiday they might have been a delay. So what I am saying is that I am giving you the benefit of the doubt right now that the parts are on the way.
With that being said I wanted to KNOW if they are in fact on the way? If I don't hear back from you by the end of this weekend I am going to do a few things to make sure I either get my parts or to ensure you have trouble selling your parts again.
I still expect to get the armor I bought from him, almost 2 months ago OR I expect to get a refund. I truely hope no one else here is having a problem getting armor that they PAID for from Youngling?

I can completely understand where you are coming from and what you are saying Sgt. I can't and won't even try to speak for youngling, but I just want you to know that I have known youngling on this site and ct.net for some time and he is a good guy. He would not try to scam you. I have never had any problems getting stuff from him before. And since he really started making a lot of parts for a lot of people I can imagine that he is very busy. Things could have gotten mixed up accidentally, or his internet may not be working or something like that. Plus, I have been having troubles logging on here for sometime, and if youngling is having that problem too, he may not be able to get on this site. And don't get me wrong here, I am not trying to take sides because on the flip side I have been where you are with people before and it is very frustrating and you get anxious and worried that you are going to be shanked on an order or something like that. Communication, no matter what else comes up, cannot be neglected. Ever. I will try to help you out Sgt. I have his pm here and I believe his regular home email address somewhere. I will try to get a hold of him myself to see what's up. I mean, worst come to worst, I have his home address from a couple parts I ordered from him and I could write him a letter if I couldn't get in contact with him.

That's what I was thinking. He is also fairly young. His parents might have grounded him or something like that. Just a thought.

Actually, I've been waiting for a few months since I ordered a set of arms from him sometime in the spring. He was good with communication and let me know about all his problems in production, but after a while it kind of got ridiculous and I just asked for a refund. He said he would reimburse me in chunks (30$ or 40$ dollars at a time) every month, starting the beginning of October, which I thought was alright since he's probably getting a really small paycheck from any part time job he might have. Unfortunately he didn't pay at all and I sent him a fairly irate PM on the 17th. You can see that was the last time he was on so I don't know if maybe he just pulled out of costuming with any money he may have gotten or what. I'm hoping that's not the case because, as was said, he's a pretty cool kid and he was working on some nice projects. We'll have to wait and see. I know Tim Rudolph ordered some stuff from him, was that ever delivered?

I do know he is a younger guy but he has been pretty good at responding to my PM's. The big problem is that he said he was going to ship and didn't. If he was having problems or knew he couldn't then he should have pm'd me or someone........?
Yes Apollo I agree I would hate to see him stop doing his thing. He's got some talent and could go pretty far with it.
I'm hoping that he did get "grounded" or internet connection problems.
I hated to have to post this in the public forum but really felt I didn't have a choice. I hate to hear I'm not the only one having some issues with him now.

I hate to hear I'm not the only one having some issues with him now. Yea, that's what got me worried. I guess the worst case is that he just took the money and ran; I never thought about the possibility of him being grounded.

From the short amount of time that I have "known" him, I have thought he was a pretty decent guy and I really can't imagine him just taking the money and splitting, he seemed like he was enjoying it too much. Plus, if he was really scamming us, why would he go through the trouble of actually making stuff on his own? Why not just recast it? (Not that I condone that). After I put my first post after sgtcarida on here this morning, I sent him a regular email (which can be found on his main forum page). We will see what happens. I will let you guys know if he writes me back. Of course, we could also use his address (that I think I have somewhere) and try to locate a phone number. Just let me know what you guys want to do.

Another thought just occured to me. He didn't have any problems with his "youngling" account did he? If he did, he could have just created a new account and we might have been pm-ing the wrong name. Just another thought.

With me, he is usually prompt with messages. I try to get a regular updates from him. I have ordered the forearms from him (seemed at the time he was the only one doing these). Knowing he was not finished with the molds and that was alright but that was around the springtime. His work seems to look fine and has a good attitude, but the time frame of delivery needs to be worked on. Money has already changed hands. And I am now getting a little frustrated also.

I don't have a problem waiting for the items. Just let me know and communicate. It looks bad when it seems like you are just "gone"...........

I'm in the same boat as Tuskenj except I ordered different pieces. He always had been really good with messages so I just don't know what's going on now
