lol, I forgot all about this thread too! Yes, I got to meet both Nick and Simon. You can see me walking past them at the sword vendor without my helmet but I'm also very briefly in the background of the 360 shot as they play with the Virtual Reality visors. While they were setting up for that scene, Nick Frost comes over to me and asks who I'm supposed to be. "Remember the montage of clones killing Jedi in Ep 3?" "Yeah" "Remember the conehead Jedi?" "Yeah" "We're the guys that killed him" "Filthy Bugger..." lol Simon came over to talk to some of us during another scene and was very nice. Thinking it was their only chance to meet him, several of the extras bombarded him with their cards, patches, and other SW/501st keepsakes. As he's called back to shoot, with an armfull of this stuff, he looks around and asks, "Alright, has anyone got any more crap to hand me?" lol After the second day of shooting for us we (the SW extras) ended up in the same hotel bar as most of the production crew. Simon was there and as he was leaving came over to say hi, thank you, and take photos with us. He apologized for being in a Star Trek movie but he enjoyed both series. We told him we felt the same. He asked if we'd heard the plot for the next Trek movie, we shook our heads and leaned in to hear about it, and he says, "Me neither! I have no idea. I only know I get to do two more!" It was a great experience

lol, I still had to drive 9 hours from Las Vegas to Albuquerque and spend about 14 hours in costume two days in a row but, yeah, it was still cool lol

I know what you mean. Sans the 9 hour drive, it was a really long day. The Shoot was suppose to be approx 6 hours. Got there at 9am (and I was running late) and didn't leave until 3am. Spent the whole day in armor. All that just to get about the same amount of Screen time as the GMs in Episode III.

lol, amen! They warned us we were in for long days so I just wore sweat pants and a grey shirt under my ribbed sweater top. Screen accurate by no means, but you can't tell

Yeah, I can't imagine filming somewhere hot and miserable for that long Here's some pics: We spent a LOT more time filming this shot than it showed in the film lol Yay, now I'm screen accurate without my helmet With my new "Paul" buddies Was great getting to meet Moncal until we realized we met years before at the first Spike's VGAs lol
