Hey folks, I can't divulge many details but I (in my Marine armor) have a very good chance of appearing in the background of Simon Pegg/Nick Frost's new movie "Paul" which should hit theaters in about a year. We finished filming our scenes on Wednesday and it was a BLAST lol www.whatispaul.com/Phil

That is awesome! Great to hear a GM will be in the Moobies, and Simon Pegg no less! That's Rad!

Glad you made it out here, Phil. I'm so bummed I couldn't get off work. *sigh* Anyway, if you ever make it back to Albuquerque, we'll have to go to lunch or something and trade GM secrets.

Bummed because I was approved for the movie shoot, just couldn't find a ride out there. Looking forward to seeing you in the flick!

@ spdr1. Hope I make the final cut. There were some shots where get some pretty good screen time, and a few I was never even in sight of the camera due to how cramped we were in some scenes.
@ Toyhunter. I briefly got to talk to Simon Pegg, but I did chat with Nick Frost a few times. Unfortunately I never got to exchange any contact info with either of them.

My girlfriend and I went to see Paul in the theater and we noticed the Galactic Marine in the beginning AND at the end. But we didn't know about this thread. It was really cool to see a GM up there - twice!

Croco... The GM at the beginning (Comic Con floor) is Phil, and I'm the one at the end (The Slave Leia shot). Here is the shot I'm in....

CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!!!!.
I saw the movie and loved it. I feel like it is a "more profound" version of Fanboys if that can be said.
Me and my boys were able to see both of you in the movie even we weren't looking for you. As a matter of fact, I didn't even remembered that this was the movie I read about in the forum so we were very happy and actually proud, that two actual marines made it to the movie. In fact if I'm not mistaken, you are the first real GMs ever in a movie, since in ROTS they were CGI, so congratulations for that achievement too.
Unbelievable that at least through a forum, I know two of the guys of that movie.
Congratulations guys, really.
