Greetings Galactic Marines.
I'm RamZnation (most people know me as "RamZ''). I was unable to find a welcoming thread, so I posted here. If this is the wrong place, I'm sure the Mods here can fix my post to the correct place or let me know where I should post.
I'm from Los Angeles, CA. Current member of Force-Fx.com and member of LAjedi.
My background: former U.S. Marine, and long time Star Wars fan, Hence why I like the Galactic Marine. I currently don't own any armor, but am hoping I will with the help of everyone here that will change. I came across this website by trying to find tutorials on how to make the Armor.
Thank you -RamZnation

I'm interested in the SGB helmet (which I know nothing about). Infact, that's what got me here.

As far as I know SGB isn't doing the V1 helmet anymore. He said the mold broke when he made mine, LOL! Anyway he is doing a V2 with a much more detailed nose area. Check out his thread over at CT.net.

Check out his thread over at CT.net. He replied to me once and said that the V1 mold was broken but it was easily fixed and the only thing would be a big line on the helmet where the mold broke and you could just bondo and sand it out. The V2 might be far off. He said he had some other projects in line first. That is the one only reply I got from him.

just be careful not to ask to buy the helmet on the forum. They're pretty antsy about that over there (no WTB adds, ever) so just keep it to pm

LOL! Were you in Philly for the opening? Looks like it in that picture. If you were I was the green Clone........yeah the dirty guy.
There is a lot of help to be found here. Most of the parts are a "venture" to get. It took me about 4 months to get mine together. I'm not even close to being done with mine right now.

Yeah I was in Philly for the opening,I don't think I met you. That was a killer time one of the best events I was ever a part of. I'll be back for closing. Now as for the GM project I had a feeling this would be hard to put together so I will be patient any help with parts info would be gladly welcomed. Later bro.

Hi a newbe here looking forward to building my GM. I am not a newbe to costuming I have an Imperial Crewman costume and I am a member of the 501st. I also have a Jedi costume, that now is a little snuge on me like everything else these days. I think one of my friends had a GM costume but I think he got rid of it, Bamatrooper. Hope to lean alot here. What do you guys think would be the best thing to start with first?

Welcome future Marine! Where to start..........do a TON of reading on this board. What you see is pretty much all there is. It is a challange to get armor for this costume. Try to get what you can when you see it for sale.

Hello all. My name is Lloyd & I am from San Diego, I have been married to my wife Amber for about a year & a 1/2 (it's been great so far). I have been into Star Wars costuming ever since Episode II (I wanted to do one right after I saw Episode I, but at that time, I did not have the money or resources) and a fan ever since elementary school. I am an active member of the San Diego Fan Force & Rebel Legion's "Sunrider Base". The costumes I have so far is a generic prequel Jedi & an Endor Commando. My name on both boards is, "JediZabrak". I know Donny ("foxbatkllr") & Gene, they costume as 327th Star Corps starwars.wikia.com/wiki/327th_Star_Corps The clone costumes that I am interested in is plain white Episode II & III clones because I can use the same armor for both costumes . I am also interested in a 21st Nova Corps of the 4th Sector Army (Galactic Marine) Here's a photo of me & my pal Donny:
