Hey Marines. I have a General Idea which Marines are going to attend San Diego Comic Con International 2009, but I wanted to verify who is going. Also we can plan to meet up a certain day and time in Armor for a Photoshoot and later on post it here. I'm planning on wearing my Armor on Friday since I will probably be on Security detail for the Slave Leia photoshoot that morning. I figure maybe us Marines can take our pictures with them afterwards.

Just give me a vague when/where I'll be on hand early morning after the 501st photo shoot too, but I know not everyone here is 501st. Phil

HA HA HA, Yeah I'll be at the other Photoshoot (the Slave Leia one). The GM armor shouldn't be too hard to miss. I'll sure I'll run into you somewhere. Any GMs going, feel free to PM me so we can discuss a "when and Where" to meet up. I'll see if we can set up a muster sheet of somesort.

(Original post Friday 24 July 2009, accidently deleted): Thursday was good at SDCC. Glad I finally met Phill (Journeymanprotector). Looking to seeing your armor tomorrow and the mix up from yesterday where my friends confused you for me was pretty funny too. *20090726 Update: RamZ' picture gallery from SDCC 09: 53rdfac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=photos&action=display&thread=483&page=1

Yes, I did put resin on the back side. It helpped alot, though, it cracked even more the day the sun's heat warpped half the bucket (which 20 mins with a heat gun was able to fix). Then more Bondo.

sweet pics, thanks Ramz You caught me while I was doing the Droid Hunt, I'd left my rifle and backpack at the hotel so I could move around easier lol Your suit photographs really well. I need to either weather my cowl or maybe even switch back to vinyl. I'm still not crazy about how the vinyl moves or bunches up, but it just LOOKS so much better on the costume. I need to re-examine it lol Was great to meet you! Are you going into crazy upgrade mode now too? I feel like I have tons of work to do

Yeah man. Hey a friend of mine noticed your picture on MaximumPC thinking it was me. [glow=red,2,300]*[/glow] I'll find the link and post it here later. Sorry if I took any of your time during the droid hunt, for that picture I wanted get of the both of us in armor since there were like 20 people around that wanted to take our picture too. Thanks for the compliments on my armor. As you noticed, I still need to fix my arms, shins, and the toe armor. I just wish I had the budget to afford these "crazy upgrades" right now. But I do want to get them done, since my friend (Delta Squad Boss from CT.net) and I want to take some pictures at the Hollywood sign, and also get ready for the Long Beach Comic Con this fall. Good luck on your cowl should go back to Vinyl. Either way, your GM armor looks good, bro! Likewise; it was great finally meeting you, too. [glow=red,2,300]*[/glow] Here's your picture and the URL to the MaximumPC site: www.maximumpc.com/article/features/comiccon_2009_cosplay_gallery_600_amazing_costumes?page=0%2C1Oh I found this one too...
