I have finally began my build even though I am still waiting on a few parts and still have to buy my undersuit material this weekend.(JoAnn fabrics is having memorial day weekend sale and Grey Cotton Duck Cloth is 50% off and you can find a coupon for 10% off total purchase) You can view my build album at: s239.photobucket.com/albums/ff150/LeoMitchell/Galactice%20Marine%20Build/I bought the bicep armor off someone who was selling their extra pieces and it was built already so I just have to prime and paint it. I plan on taping off the front and then painting the inside black and then adding some foam to help hold it on my arm. The shoulder bell had to be trimmed and then painted. Weathering is being done using the toothpaste method for masking and then using charcoal to further dirty it up.

My build is progressing slowly. Working on the strapping for the chest and back plate as well as forearms and such.

Thanks. I just have to finish modding some parts of my Tusken and then I can give this build my full concentration. I got my Right Shoulder Bell, and handplates in the mail yesterday. They are OSCS so I can't wait to get them trimmed and painted up.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with that right shoulder, Leo. I just got my OSCS hands and TB shoulder too Personally I think I like my fabricated right shoulder better than the OSCS TB shoulder, but I'll take a closer look soon. Any plans for the ribbing on the shoulder bell? I used hot glue : / Phil

Not sure what I am going to do for the ribbing yet. I am going to take a look around at different stores to see if there's anything that might be useful.

Just got word that the last pieces of my armor are going to ship on Friday. Now I just have to sit down and finish this build.

If you end up using wire, I'd like to see how that goes. I tried it on mine, but it looked horrible.

I had thought about using wire and then covering it with hot glue or caulk. This way I can go back and sand it to make it look better and hit it with paint and weathering.
