Hey guys.
just wanted to share a little something. I went to go see John Williams and the Los Angeles philharmonic last night at the Hollywood bowl.
A short while I go I found this on YouTube.
I am somewhere in that large group of Sabers (aka the Nerd group). There was a total of 90 of us in that group. There were members from the Liningup, Los Angeles Fan Force, Inland Empire Fan Force, and LAjedi.

That is awesome. I love John Williams and my love of the Star Wars music pretty much translated into a love of classical/orchestral in general some years back. I think one of my absolute favorites is the Shadows of the Empire soundtrack, and even though it's not John Williams (Joel McNeely) I think he captured the feel of SW better than some other composers. The Battlestar Galactica soundtracks also rock as with the music from the X-Box version of Crimson Skies (have to download though, not sold).
What is everyone's favorite SW album? Mine would be a tie between EPI and EPIV.

Love the original. But my favorite track is Track 4 EPIII. Anakin's Betrayal. It's were the clones receive Order 66.

Yeah I like that one too. All of EPIII is really good. I love John Williams' anyways, but for me, Empire is a little slow and my least favorite. I love all the music, but I tend to drift towards prequel music before original trilogy stuff. It's all good, but just not as favorite.

I love the soundtracks, and John Williams also I actually got to sponsor his honory membership in the 501st. If I were to go with most moving tracks, it'd be ESB and ROTJ easily. Here are my overall favorites though, which tend to be those that accompany the most emotionally moving or intense scenes: "Across the Stars" from EPII "Birth of twins and Padme's Death" from EPIII "A New Hope and end credits" from EPIII "Imperial Attack" and "Return Home" from ANH Most of the Hoth attack, "Yoda and the Force", "City in the Clouds", most of the Bespin Escape, and definately "Losing a Hand" from ESB For ROTJ, I pretty much love everything from "Intro the Trap" right through the end lol I've been meaning to discuss the soundtracks on a message board, glad to see it started here Phil

Too cool. You guys really had some decent seats. This is 3rd year in a row they go to the concert (all the groups I mentioned above), and we bought out tickets back in February just to make sure that 90 of us can be seated together in the middle.
