RamZ, can you do the same thing with a more "normal" English font? I think I might like it.

Sure. That was just rough and quick. I can't right now since I'm at school and the computers here don't have the Aurebesh font (and I can't download it here). If I have time tonight when I get home I'll do it, if not I will for do it some time tomorrow. Any Suggestions as far as the English Font? I just picked the first Sci-Fi looking one I found. I think [glow=red,2,300]Neuropol[/glow] is a pretty cool looking one (Not sure if anyone has that font or how it might look). By the way, here is the concept I mentioned for the Back of the Shirt. This one could go on the Left Sleeve: "Obviously not as big. ***Please note. As I stated above, these are only Concepts. It's up to Wally for the final verdict since he's the one who its going to try and hook us up with the T-shirts (and I'm sure the more detail, the more the cost). Even Torso-Boy might have a say so in the Shirt design if he logs on and sees this thread.

By the way, here is the concept I mentioned for the Back of the Shirt. I so like this latest design...it's frakkin awesome! I sure hope these shirts become available in the near future along with 53rd patches that are also in the works. Peace!

Ok, ok, ok....slow down:-)
We're trying to keep the cost down as much as possible. If we use a darker shirt that will increase the price because of the ink you need to use. Also anything more than 1 color is going to increase the price.
My friend is working on the logo with the arc on the top and bottom.
Once he gets the design more final I'll post a picture of it.
I'll also be updating the 1st post with who is down for a shirt.

I'd still probably buy one, but I honestly don't like the pic for the back with the 3 marines and the banner at the bottom (I don't like the banner part of it). It's too much and reminds me of a beer shirt for some reason. I like everyone's ideas and input, but, and this is just my opinion here, I think the shirt idea is getting too complex. If we keep it simple, it keeps the cost down and there is a better chance that everyone will like it.
And if someone REALLY likes a specific design, someone could also make a couple iron-on sheet with certain designs. Just a thought.

You are right. The more simple the better. Plust, like Wally said... We have to think of the cost. What I mentioned above was just a conept idea (maybe for other shirts later on).

I might just do what you said, as I love this design. The only probelm I have is that iron ons do not hold up well. They are all faded and cracked after only a few wears.

Maybe we are not on the same page. I was suggesting I make my own iron on of that design. That way I can have that shirt plus the one you are working on. Or were you just speaking out against iron ons in general?

There is style of iron-on that is alot more durable than the old school style. We use them on our race jerseys and they hold up really well. There is a guy locally here that does them. I'll check into pricing. It'll have to be after the weekend though, I'm leaving for Reno in the morning to do some racing.

I was just mentioning iron-on as an idea for the more complex designs that we may not all agree on. And for the heavy iron-ons, I use the ones made for black/dark fabrics from walmart. Found in the same aisle as the regular ones. I made the main guy (playable) character's costume from Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I made my own 3D glasses and used a dark iron-on transfer for a skull graphic. That, with jeans, skating shoes and 2 squirt gun pistols...!!! But my point is that the shirt turned out very nice.

The guy that did out LAjedi shirts had the same issue with the iron (check the sleeve). He said, If the design is vector based (ie, Adobe illustrator) the print looks good but if it's something like a JPG (rasterized image), it will have to be ironed on and you can see how it's made. It's kind of hard to tell on these picture, but here's what it looks like. The LAjedi.com on the front is Vector (Which looks pretty good) The Logo on the sleeve is the iron on (it's a bit obvious). The iron is pretty good, but it cracked after drying it a few times when I did the laundry. As you can see the front looks pretty good: Sleeve (iron on): ...I'm not sure if that will be the issue with SgtCardia's T-Shirt contact.

I'll be in for 1 (XL) once they start up. As long as the final shirt color isn't black. I'm so sick of all these costuming shirts done in black. I get cat hair all over them... I like the logos that have been suggested, anything's cool with me Phil
