I'm sure it is. The armor I'm working on is going to be clean. I figure I'll earn my Battle Damage the legit way.

I do not believe that the 501st (if you are going for that official stuff) even CAN say that it has to be dirty or clean. In that respect, you can do what suits you. I am in the same boat with you, I like the look of the marine and any clone actually just plain white (or red in this case) and clean. Though I probably will weather mine when I actually finish it, because weathering is a whole other WORLD of creativity and fun stuff.

I'm going for dirty. Still thinking of ways to do it. You have to get the Kama and coveralls on the same level as the armor IMO. People miss the coveralls.

It should look like you just stepped out of the movie screen (during the Clone Wars). ;D That's what makes Star Wars what it is, George Lucas purposely made things look weathered (ie. the spaceships, gear & uniforms), the trick is NOT to over do it!!!

Good tip. That is true. Which is why everything looks so cool "Battle Damaged".

I agree. I do love the look of both battle-damaged and clean. There is just something about a clean EP II TC, you know? So, when I finally get around to mine, I am not sure which way I will go.
