Here are my ammo boxes and belt buckles, created in resin using Smooth-on 321 resin. I created bucks from MDF and poured silicone moulds. Unpainted, What do you think?

Very impressed! I have to say, and I say this as an observation NOT a criticism, I have never seen anyone make the ammo boxes/clips anything other than flat. I like them with a little more shape like you did.
Also, not many people make the "other" box (which we have no name for); you know, the one on the ammo strap (on the chest) but NOT the ammo box, the other one. Sorry my explanation there sucks. But seriously, VERY few people make them. Great job!
I like the buckles too, but that's one thing that I can't seem to find many references for, so I honestly don't know what I could compare them to, but they do look good.

all looking very nice, resin works wonders for making multiple parts. The only criticism I have is that the loops on top of the buckles should be angled instead of round. It's nothing big and I really like how you sort of stylized the ammo boxes, like Shadow mentioned.

Thanks for the compliments!
apollo,When you say angled, how do you mean? Do you have a picture reference?

Just compare your larger ammo boxes to your smaller ammo boxes. Your smaller ones are completely flat. Your larger ammo boxes are tapered or beveled if you will, on the edges.

shadow, I was referring to Apollos comment on the buckles being angled. As far as the ammo boxes goes I like it that way

Those boxes are real cool. Lot's of depth to main boxes too, good work!

You can kind of see it here if you zoom in really far But I think it's much more visible on this shot. I think I saw a more definitive picture somewhere else, but I don't remember where I don't think it would detract from your costume at all, just something you might upgrade later

Hmm, I see what you mean apollo. I can most likely laser cut them from 1/4" or 1/8" aluminum with a smaller 1/8" or 1/16" piece overlayed slightly smaller. The only thing I'd be worried about if I did them in resin is the loop detail would probably break. Laser cut aluminum would be much better.
Is it actually a loop? like a D-ring only more angled?

as far as I can tell that's how it is. Someone talked about getting them machined, but nothing came of it

How would you attach them to the Bandolier (which I'm using from an old belt)? Sorry if the question sounds stupid, but I'm a noob at building armor. I already have the Ammo boxes.
