NO WAY! NO WAY! NO WAY! I can finally give up (for now) on my custom one. It was a neat idea, but it just didn't quite come together. I might eventually finish it though. It is a 6" PVC 90 that was cut. I have some serious work to do with it.
I look forward to seeing the right shoulder bell Mike. Even just progress pics where you can't see anything.

(chanting loudly now, as if to raise the dead...) WE DEMAND PICS! Pics of sticks and chicks and quips. (Sorry, have the old Grinch in my head now and suddenly loving rhyming)...

Here is the pic of my homemade right shoulder bell (I still have a lot of work to do like I said). 6" PVC 90 angle cut along the edges. Basically, the 3rd pic is a straight(ish) piece that I am going to cut out to extend down for the angled piece. Just to make it a little longer. See what I was going for?

That angled PVC actually looks pretty darn good!
Hmm.

Thanks guys.
That was really what I was going for too. The thing I love about using the PVC, is that it could probably really take a beating. It was a pretty neat idea (since I am not yet ready for vac-forming or resin casting) but I wish Menards sold 7" PVC pieces, because this 6" is JUST too small. A tad bigger would have been perfect. But to be honest, I guess I just have big shoulders...I think I will finish it, even if for just to reason to see what finished/painted PVC armor would look like.

Shadow, I can't see your pics for some reason ?

Keep us in the loop HumbleBumble! Excellant ingenuity to Shadow! My right Bacara shoulder spalder was made from a small trash can that tapered in at the bottom, like a pretty cheerleaders megaphone

Yes, never forget about PVC. PVC is awesome. It is your friend (until you start dremeling in the middle of July and the heat makes the bits that are cut liquify, turning a whole tube of dremel cutter wheels into broken bits every 22 seconds, leaving you with only a right shoulder bell that is unfinished)...But MOST of the time, it is your friend.

Yeah, I imagine that makes PVC work extra special... Thanks for the heads up, though.
