Oh ok, it's GBX. I still would like to see a pic or two sgtcarida no doubt could do this himself, but since I happened to stumble across it right after I read this I thought I would post it. forum.clonetroopers.net/index.php?showtopic=6717For those of you who do not know, underdog over at CT.net is sgtcarida.

I know Sgt. Carida is Underdog over there. All you have to know is that he is the the Green EP II TC. I really believe that he is the ONLY Sgt. TC. I love the look of that armor by the way Carida. I am not much of a fan of green (preference wise) but that armor looks BA!

Thanks for the kind words Jason. There is one other Sgt in the 501st. He is in Ohio. Just look at the Clones in the 501st database and you'll see him. I did the sgt because I WAS a Staff Sergeant when I left the Army:-) My user names are pretty much different on all the boards. I go by TC5800, sgt carida or underdog on them all. Most won't let you change them after you join so that is why they all seem different! BUT you can tell it is me by my armor, LOL! As for the shoes......General I can't remember what kind of shoes those were?? The first ones I bought and thought looked good are the ones linked to CT.net. They were expensive and I hated to have to mod them. I was out with the wife and found the second set of boots for $20! Looking at the bottoms AND knowing they were ankle cut AND only being $20 made me buy them. I took the others back. I didn't want to have to paint the soles of the GM boots. I wanted them tan. So I started modding them this week. Here is a sneak peep at what I am doing....... I only have my first layer of vinyl on one side. I am working with the screen caps, Hasbro figure and ILM photo for referance. Combining the three gives me a good idea of the entire boot and shin. PLEASE keep in mind this is only about 20 minutes of work on the shin and boot. I'm not even close to being finished. I will post more pictures here for everyone as long as there is interest in seeing what I am doing. I'm not going very fast so they won't be all the time.

Here are some pics of the Toe armor after some refinement. These pics do not reflect the soft curves yet as I'm still working out the basic shapes and angles of the toe piece overall. The sculpt is almost finished and I'll be updating these pics soon. please, LMK what you think so far, as this is a work in progress and open to change as the community sees fit.

Wow you made it just like the barc picture one! That is great i think! Nice boots as well the only thing i notice, i think it should be shorter, and instead of trying to explain it in words (anybody understands italian? ) i drew a sketch: Yellow line is to show why i think it should be shorter, as you can see in the Barc pic it is allined with the arch of the sole. Blue line is how i believe it should be, i'd make it more plain in the top part as a "average shape" since in the movie it changes all the time: sometimes it is a lot curved as you made and as it is in the Barc pic, but sometimes it is very plain as you see in the pic i pasted here, so i'd go for not so curved-not so plain shape. hope that helps

I agree with snowflake. Just a little trim there. Maybe that's not the best pic to go off of, but that's what it looks like. I like it though so far.

Very nice, thansk for pointing out the angles, this is just the kind of feedback I'm looking for. The Angles are easily adjusted. I'm going to adjust the "back angle" and bottom curve and slightly reduce the upper curve where the toe meets the shin. I also noticed the angle on the front of the toe also appears to be off slightly as well, easily fixed... Here's a pic of what I also found... Thanks fellas, I'l l go abck and revisit these areas, Mike

Yeah Mike, keep it up. I am VERY much looking forward to seeing a finished version on the toe armor. By the way, any pics of just the shin armor? We really can't see much in those pics. Wondering how much progress you have had on that.
