But they could be a "re-cast" if you will, a replica. I had heard about someone doing that on TDH. Reinone, was it?

Yeah, a guy in my Garrison just got his from Reinone for his Jango build. They look great, but even these are not perfect boot and they're quite expensive.

If not more. But for not being EXACTLY perfect replicas, they do still look pretty BA.

I saw the thread that outlined all the differences between Reinone and KC and they looked pretty close to me, especially for something that's being worn on the foot. It's a good option if you have the money

But that's just it. The money. Although I suppose, if you found real KC's they could very well be MORE than that. I am not one of those people who wouldn't spend the money just because something is a replica, that doesn't bother me, but I just can't see dropping that kind of money on boots, even for a costume. I mean, 2/3rds of the year I wear flip-flops and shorts anywho.

yea, I wouldn't spend that either. I'm saying if you have the money then that's the way to go. Same as with a 400 dollar TK helmet

If I was doing a Jango I'd be all over those boots but I'd not. I can make my $20 GPX boots look just as good as on screen with a little time, effort and minimal $.

It's a good option if you have the money My point was not about the difference (if any) between the actaul Jango boots and the remakes. I was going to make the point that neither are the ones used for the GM's and BARC's. But, after closer inspection, it seems obvious that they are all the same shoes.

Could you take some pics? The ONE thing that I can't find ANYTHING that I am happy with is the boots for my costume. Most everything else I am happy enough with, but the boots, I just don't like a lot of boots out there.

I have a pair of GBX brand shoes that I'll practice on, but will be getting the Jango style boots for my build.
