Hello guys, i have a question, maybe stupid. Is the GM's elbow armor the same as standart a TC, or is it different? It looks the same to me, but without a neat shape along the main plate and a smoother look on the front.

Which regular TC plate are you referring to? There are TWO different elbow TC plates. That is one of the MAIN differences (beisdes different buckets) between Phase I (Episode II) and Phase II (Episode III) armor.

ohhhhh! You are right! I never figured out the difference between the two elbow styles... After looking at many references I think it definitely is a Phase One Elbow then (and i believe Bacara sports it too)

I definitely think they're an improvement, but the overall look is too boxy for me. I'll post pics in a few hours to show what I mean but it is a good improvement

Alright here is what I mean Do you see how the elbow is more curved both horizontally and vertically (I don't know what else to call it)? I noticed you said phase 1 elbows. I know there's a difference but I'm not sure what it is lol. However, you shouldn't be making phase 1 elbows for the gm should you? It's definitely an example of phase 2 armor. Here's a real life example of an extremely accurate pair of fg elbows (these are not mine and I will take the pic down if anyone has a problem with it)

I was told that Bacara and the GMs sported the Phase 1 elbows. Also on the too boxy look it is tru that they are boxier than even normal phase 1 elbows. I have not yet added the appropriate curves to it. Also the pics show more boxy than it really is. When I mold these up they will be appropriately curved. Lastly if you look at the sith snapshot it shows that the GM elbows definately have more of a sharp corner than the phase 2 elbows. Well I like them personally They do need to have the curvature put in them before molded but they are definately an improvement to the last ones. Also for all of you who have ordered elbows from me and your order is not at your house yet I will throw in a pair of these for no extra cost also for all of those who want to replace the old ones I will give you a dixcount just contact me via PM. sith snapshot

Sorry, I didn't know how to say it right. I was saying something else. I do agree that the basic shape of the piece that you cut out is correct, I think the curvature is off. I'll try to explain this better (it would be a lot easier if it had a picture I could actually point at lol). The elbows are basically divided into 3 sections right? The two sides and the middle. All three of your sections are completely flat. I agree the the two side sections should be flat but the middle section needs to bulge out. Do you see what I'm saying. And no problem bro

Actually you forgot 1 or 2 of the pics apollo it shows the veiw of the sides. I curved the sidesso that they wrap around the arm take a look again at my photobucket account. if I didn't put the pic in my account sorry but the side parts actually wrap around the arm. And also when I was talking about adding the curvature before molding what I meant is I am going to take a bunch of woodfiller and make the middle section curve and bulge out like you said to look more like a phase 1 elbow armor I just have to wait till I mold them because I am going to wear these until I can make myself some FG ones and I don't want the woodfiller to fall off or something worse. Well I hope you guys enjow I actually cut the 2 little black marks into each one. I will post pics Wednesday I got to go to a funeral down in Utah so I will be gone all of tomorrow.

Doh! Sorry mate. I was in a hurry when I posted those and didn't realize what it was when I looked at it. Here's the pic he's talking about Ok, I must have just missed the part where you mentioned adding the woodfiller before molding. I'm looking at the pics again and I found one other thing . It looks like the two side sections should slope down from the top more. I actually can't tell if it's a slope or a concave curve but I'm pretty sure it's there. We might just be seeing things differently
