I agree with you Bret, not only do they not come up as high, but they also don't go all the way down to the ankle. Look at the BARC picture, since their armor is camoflauged, and you can see it stops at about the top of the Achillies'
Are you using TC shins for yours? I was hoping something better looking comes along (plus my calves will require MEGA shimming)

It definitely is. My calves armor are 26cm and they fit me perfectly. They are still rough pieces, but they will be ready quite soon.

TC shins seem too "pointy" to me. Are you building them up or anything?

Wow this helps a ton since I am working on the GM shin right now. I am still going to make the mold extra big and then you can cut off what you need to. But that is weird how the shin cuts off way high away from the ankle.

I am going to cut the peak off and add a flat section. I'll post pics when I do it.

YL - If you make them, make them SUPER big, with plenty of room for trimming =) My calves are 16" around at the widest point. With TK armor, I had to add about 4" of shim to close the gap.

WEll IANL... THOSE ARE REALLY BIG CALFS. And since I have already made the mold I am planning on making you a seperate mold and then anyone who has SUPER big calfs can have a perfect fit. As for the mold I have right now it is pretty small/medium sized. But The work on your Calf mold will go to work as soon as I finish the elbow molds.

There's really no need to do that. I appreciate the thought though. I can figure something out for my shins.

Nope IANL do not worry one little bit I am going to make you a mold for no extra cost not a bit more money. I am sure that some other people will come olang one day and have really big calfs too. So I am going to start this project as soon as I have finished the normal sized calves and shins.

I am with Ian on this one...I am not going to try to convince either of you either way, but you don't have to do that youngling...HOWEVER, if you do make them, let me know as well...The biggest (pretty much middle) part of my calves are 18"...

Looking good Snowflake - now trim that beard before the Capt. see it Marine !!! LOL Buha uahahhaaha Aren't we allowed to sport a nice beard when fighting on cold freezing planets?! It helps keeping the jaw warm so we can curse dorids properly while we blow them up! asd MARINE! Don't you know there is nothing proper about cursing?! And those shins look really awesome! Now drop at give me 50 push-ups! I want to see a vein in your forehead! Actually, there are several clones that are known to sport beards of some sort (one RC has documented visual reference of said beard). So it's not a problem. Just don't let it get too long - I don't want to see it peaking out from underneath your cowl trooper! On an unrelated note, those boots are looking great! What kind of boots are they? I ask because that tread looks fantastic! (I want to start up a "resource list" that has a list of acceptable/recommended parts, and I want to put those boots on this list.)
