dude that is coming along nicely. I have to say youngling, you've got more guts than I do...I don't know if I could trust myself enough to make everything from scratch and you are seriously kicking ass on that front. I am REALLY TRULY impressed. You have references, but beyond that, you didn't have a whole lot more than that (since there isn't a whole GM kit yet) . Can't wait to see the final assembled GM.
And as the captain would say, HOORAH!

Hey Youngling, don't mistake my curiously on ct.net for a change of mind. I AM still interested in some of your armor if and when (hopefully more on the when side) you offer it. It DOES look good, and as most people here can attest to, I LIKE to ask lots of questions. I always ask S***loads of questions. Doesn't mean that I have affiliated with anyone or anything.

You may be joking but it is true. But most people don't have a problem. But you know what? When I buy something (armor or anything) I NEVER am unhappy with it because I always know EXACTLY what I am getting.
Anyways, sorry for stealing your thread youngling. MORE ARMOR!

No prob Jason. I should have the arm molds working wednesday or thursday depending on how long my anticipated vacation lasts. But I will post pics as soon as I can. I mad a CRAP version of the bicep when my mold wasn't done and here is an idea of size with the bagginess of my black top it looks pretty good on my arm it is also fits my dad. So it is pretty big It will basically look good on any armature.
Also I am not offended at all Jason and I do not mind if you go for the MG armor I was just saying you were once interested and I was going to ask you if you were still intersted.
Also believe me I CAN"T WAIT til I have the armor done that will mean I am just like... well very close to finishing.

Has anyone ever thought about doing any of the armor in metal?

You know, that would be cool LOOKING but that would be SO heavy you would probably rather be dead than trooping in metal.

Well, if it is 15- 20 gauge sheet metal that is not very heavy at all the only "heavy" piece would be the chest plate. the rest would be very light

Yes but consider this. If you take a WHOLE BUNCH of "not-so-heavy" metal and wear it, TOGETHER it will be heavy. You would regret wearing it. Like I said, COOL idea would look REALLY cool, but not to wear. I mean, you do what you want, but I think you would be uncomfortable.
