Ok I dont know if this had been disscused or not but I noticed while looking at some screen shots of the GM's from the back, and it almost looks like the top part is a dome over the white and tan cowle kind of like a vader type thing. its like the tan part is a hard peice and wraps around to the back and the cowle of course is soft then the dome goes over the top. I dont know maybe I am seeing things you guys tell me what you think. I cant seem to figure out how to get the pic on here but you guys know the pick right?

It has been discussed that the GM helmet is a phase 2 helmet with a dome and a cowl put on it but we believe that it isn't true. Also if you look closely at the sith snapshot the helmet looks to be as just one peice there is no seem and other obvious evidence of the helmet being a 2 part.

Has anyone try this approach in construction of the bucket? I mean if one could get a bucket to the point of Apollo's (no cowl or face yet), create a hood type setup with a rigid face under the cowl. It might work. (Although I am partial to the one piece Idea myself.)

I have been involved in discussions on this site long ago, and other sites also. You cannot put a shroud (helmet back and top) and a cowl on the front of a regular clone helmet to make a GM. The dimensions for a regular clone (EP II AND EP III) are too big and it would look weird. However, if you are talking about just a custom GM 2-piece, personally, I would say that it's do-able and would be pretty cool actually. I would have to come up with a crazy schematic, but it could potentially be even more stable (weight/balance wise) than an SGB...Something to consider...

The cowl mats would have to be something breathable, but also look like a vinyl or rubber. as for a face, lower half of a paint ball mask has the right shape. goggles half would be tooo big for it.
