I ordered some OSCS parts for my GM, last night. I got biceps/triceps and forearms. I already have the rubber elbows and I like to make my own hand plates from Sintra. I'll be taking my time on this build, but it's always a nice motivator to have armor pieces laying around begging to be worked on.

ahhhh there's nothing more satisfactory than wearing your own set of sintra's handplates

Yes, sir. That' true. I was planning to make another set of Sintra forearms, but this time decided to just order 'em. Here's an early pic of one of my home made 327th forearms:

Can't wait to see what you come up with!!! I plan on making a few of my parts, as well.
Off to the garage to work on my knees! *pitter pitter pitter*

I've made forearms from sintra and it really does feel better. I can't get them looking as good as a vac formed set but it's still cooler for me

Yeah, the great thing about using Sintra is that it's almost an 1/8" thick (3mm). Actually, I just ordered another 4' X 8' sheet for some other stuff. It certainly never hurts to have it on hand.

I believe those are OSCS elbows. I have the same ones for my build! They are made of a foam material. Not sure exactly.......

Haven't been around for a while. I've been very busy with SW props, work, and life in general. I wanna' get caught up with you guys, so I'll be taking some time to see what I've missed. I've got a little progress to report on my build. Got my beautifully pulled Laws chest and back plates. I've never owned or seen cleaner armor. When I open the box, the first thought that occurred to me was, "Crap, this stuff is small." However, after I put it on, it wasn't as small as it looked. I'm not a bird-chested dude, either. I'll certainly have to shim the sides, but that's no big deal. Here they are compared to an OSCS chest and back: Best of all, I need to show-off my brand spankin' new Steelblitz GM ammo boxes! Pics to come.

You'll find that it is a really good size once you have it on and where it needs to be. I closed mine up with sheets of ABS, fiberglass and bondo. It is really coming along.

Yeah, I'm using ABS and CA glue for mine. Here's Steelblitz's pic of the ammo boxes. Haven't gotten around to taking pics of mine yet, but they're the same as these.
