We are, once again, having trouble with our internet service provider. I won't bother with a full explanation, but it does have something to do with their business ethics and them telling us the wrong amount to pay each month. As such, when we paid the bill this month, we "paid too little" and got disconnected this morning.
The cable bill is in the hands of my roommate. He takes care of the cable while I take care of other things. He'll be getting us hooked back up when his tax return comes back, and he's informed me that could be in a few days to a few weeks.
As such, I will be absent from the forums most of the time. I'm making it a point to visit the UAH computer labs each day after classes from now until we're hooked back up, so I will be online once a day. I won't give you an exact schedule since it's a fairly awkward one to follow. But just know I'll be online once a day, and will be able to reply to your PMs.
Now I have a request. Shadoweclipse is having difficulties getting used to the forum's software and needs assistance in posting photos from the flickr album. I've sent him a tutorial, but it may be difficult to follow (not sure). So if he needs help, PLEASE offer your assistance! Most of you know how to post photos, so I imagine you guys can help out a fellow Marine in some capacity. Thanks!

Dave, I'll keep everything running smoothly here on my end as best I can. Feel free to drop me a landline as needed for any updates as well.

The principles on which the Internet is built were first applied on the ARPANET network, created in 1969 by order of the American agency DARPA. Using the achievements of ARPANET, in 1984 the US National Science Foundation created the NSFNET network for communication between universities and computer centers
