I might be able to get you an answer by tomorrow. I have a friend within Garrison Carida that used to work for Hasbro, and he has some real good high resolution shots of the Galactic Marine. Hopefully there is a good shot of the shoulder. I'll let you know.

I have 7 loops on mine. 3 large, and 4 shorter ones. Which I based off the hasbro Figure Here is an image of the Gentle Giant GM bust which has 6 since the middle loop becomes part of the edge. Hope this helps.

Thats a great shot of the bust. I thought the helmet sloped a bit like the TS. I need to find/buy that bust. I can't seem to find good 360 degree pics of the GM.

for those who think that the gentle giant minibust must not be used for reference, let me tell you that there can be a mistake at the construction at the backpak sides but they used the most significant pics provided direct from LUCAFILM. but they do not want to share those images information because the copyright and they did not asked if they can instead, that is sad. but only those my turn around screen shots are the only ones that are available only if someone of GG share their hi res references with us

The loops are the same as the gg minibust. from the back one short, one long , one short, one long, one short and one long at the front. there are two only measures, draw them in a paper and then resize until fits in your armor, shoulder

The 360 does not show any loops, again the CG wonderful world of the GM still leave alot to question.

I always insist in not using figures as reference, but in this case of the right bell, mistaken or not, the mini bust is the most clear reference available. So much that I did cut my bell vertically in two, to superimpose the back half over the front one, just like in the mini bust.
It is the only reference I'm taking from the bust, and although I can't be sure if that is a mistake or made on purpose, I kinda like to have it that way.
Regarding how many loops, I think by now we all agree the consensus is a total of 6: 4 shorts and 2 long disposed as S-L-S-S-L-S.
But what I haven't decide yet is the thickness of the loops, the diameter of the material to build them. Actually I haven't decide between 2,5 or 3 mm. I know the difference is minimum, but I'm not sure which one to choose, so any advice on this will be appreciated.
