Thanks apollo We sculpt in the foam. After we cover the mold several layer of plaster of paris. The knee mold is made in wood !

cool. Do you know specifically what kind of foam that is? I might try my hand at making something like that. Also, what size shoe is that toe armor made for?

size shoe is 10 & is High-density foam to insulate the basement houses is very strong & hard

It's called Styrofoam SM, sheet insulation. You can get it at most home improvement stores. Also comes in pink. Available in different thicknesses.
Warning* melts when resin is applied.

More importantly, are you going to be casting pieces FS off those molds?
