i have a simple template, but it is almost no use since i worked almost a month on the shins cutting, bondoing, sanding, modifing the initial shape. Those shins were the first piece i started and took me ages to complete. They were a real pain in the ass! Everybody ask me for a run of them, but i want to finish the costume first, than i will try myslf at making castings of them Thanks for all the kind words guys

I think there are a couple of people who might be making them, so don't worry. They do look great, but I am just thinking that even if you came out and said that you do want to do a run, most of the guys live here in the US, and the shipping might kind of be expensive. I could be wrong about that. I just can't wait to see how good yours will look finished and painted and all. It's going to look killer.

you know shipping to the usa from italy is way cheaper then from usa to me, it tooks a week and has got insurance as well... something like 15 bucks... but anyway i want to finish the whole costume before i could even think of casting them

Hey I can wait I got to get my supplies together before I can fully make anything. I was planning to make most of my parts, and if I could bypass a couple of manufaturing steps, the more time I have to work on some of them. But dang the work you have done on these is awesome. When you get the whole suit done I want pics

How easy are you finding it to work with the Sintra? And what is the approximate thinkness that you are using?

the thikness is 3mm... at the beginning you make a lot of mistakes, but after sometime you start to understand how to use it (right temperature, time left before it hardens again...). The most important thing is to think ahead at the piece you want to make considering the shape you can reach with the sintra and where you are going to put bondo to make it smoother... when you are good, you will use just a small quantity of bondo

Looking really good, snowflake. Can't wait to see the finished GM, been a while since we seen your work and it looks great. Your bucket from the front flares out a little like Vaders' Helmet, not sure if that is what you were going for or not, but I think it actually looks cool. I'm sure it will look intimidting once it's finished. I'd also like to see how you will work the Backpack. Take your time on the those pictures. The handi work is priority.

well the shape of the helmet is accurate for the extension of the sides but the top is too round and way inaccurate, anyway i'll keep it like this for now... i'm working on the backpack right now, i shaped the top with sintra and i'm building the structure right now, soon i'll post pics.
