thank you guys! it's kind of easy to work with sintra, you just draw the template on paper, you try it on you, you make the proper adjustments to every curve, than you cut the sintra after your template, (if needed you make superficial cuts, like in the triangle plate on the arm piece), then you heat it up with a thermic gun, and you start bending it around tubes, spray cans, glasses, bottles, anything might have the right shape. The cuts you did on the piece keep the bending sharp... with some experience (i wasted two shin pieces before i got a good one) you can do anything with it!

Nice!
The sintra brings a level of crispness and detail you cant achieve with regular vac-formed armour.

I agree. I wish I had those kind of skills so I could do a vac-formed AND a sintra GM.

What thickness sintra did you use and where did you get the templates? Self-made? After I finish my snowie, I'm wanting to do the GM. So I'm trying to get all the info/resources together now.

With the dark lighting that armor gives new meaning to your screenie "Snowflake." LOL That armor looks great. I am curious did you velcro the "hand armor" (I dont know the correct term for it) to your glove or use straps?

the thikness is 3mm and yes i have a template, i can easily CAD draw it if you want it.
Cooterdavis, i just put some tape behind the handplate for the picture, but i think i will glue them on a pair of gloves, i don't like straps or velcro very much

I would love to see a template for this. The pictures make it look so great! I DEFINITELY need some new forearms. And some new Biceps and elbows. Do those next.
