Welcome aboard everybody Hope to see you hanging around in here and completing this project. The board may seem slow at times, but it's a really rewarding costume because there's so few of us! I can't think of another costume that looks this badass, has a really big gun, and still lets you sit down and kneel. Plus you get to wear a skirt, how awesome is that!? lol Phil

Hey Jon, sorry for the late reply. Welcome aboard to the 53rd! Good luck finishing up that TIE.
JMP is right. The GM is one of the best looking and more comfortable Clonetrooper costumes. Feel free to go over other posts around here. Many of them are pretty old, but the reference is good.
There are many great Marines here, and willing to help. Good luck with both armors and we look forward to seeing you around here in the near future.

Thought I would take the time to introduce myself. My name is Matt, Im a big fan of Star Wars, and just got into costuming due to my background in 3d modeling and pepakura. I dont have a costume yet, but hopefully that will change in the near future. I have a lot of work done on my helmet, and scratch built the hand gaurds, and have most of the models all finished for more of the armor pieces.

Hey Matt, welcome aboard to the mighty 53rd! Looking forward to seeing you in the Forums. Lot of good Marines here that will help out if you got any questions. How long have you been working with 3D modeling, and which software do you prefer using?

Im a die-hard Sketchup user and advocate, as its free lol. However, for the purposes I use it for, like pepakura, it has limited features to make better "buildable" models. So I use it alongside Blender to help work things out. And thanks for the welcome, theres TONS of info here. Had I of found this site before, Id probably be done with my armor already.

I am chris, I am XO of the Rancor Raiders Outpost. This is my 4th costume. I am a TS, DZ, Jediand a future GM. I am well on my way with my GM and have found alot of great info here. I have got my 53rd patches, SGB Helmet, Steelblitz belt, pouches, mags, and greeblies, DL chest and back, glover and OSCS clone arm parts. I am also on the list for getting Bangles leg parts. The Back pack is going to be a bump in the road but it should not be too bad.
When will this become the official 501st GM detachment? Chris TS-2657

Hey Chris. Welcome aboard to the mighty 53rd. Good seeing you here and sorry for the late reply but I was out of town these past 5 days for a civil war reenactment (American, not galactic). Your GM seems to be right on track, and I know how hard the backpack is. That's pretty much all I have left on mind, and I plan on having it finished by SDCC next week.
Good luch, and once again, welcome aboard brother. -RamZ

Hey, I'm Kerwin. I've been looking for a cool hobby. And when I saw RamZ's GM Armor, the star wars geek inside me "yes yes yes!!!!" Plus the GM armor is my personal favorite clone armor. So, i can't wait to get started. I think Ill start with the DC-15 first.
