Due to several unforeseen circumstances that have arose over the past month, I have to unload and sell my Galactic Marine costume. This is not an easy decision, for I have invested in nothing but the BEST available parts and constructed this costume as a masterpiece (spent a lot of time researching to make this as accurate as possible). In addition, I have found that the left forearm does not fit properly anymore since I had surgery to repair a torn distal bicep tendon. I am finishing a new to the legion costume, the Cold Assault Trooper, which I will soon be submitting for approval and hope to retain my GM designation.
This is a 501st approved GM costume and is wearable out of the box, just some odds/ends you may want to upgrade or reinforce. I am 6'0" and weigh approximately 250 lbs. The GM boots are a size 10.5 US.
I will NOT part out!
Here is what is included with the costume:
Helmet = Heatshock (HS)
Pauldrons = Scratch Built (Designed to flex and contour to the body).
Chest Plate = Laws
Ammo Boxes / Chest Greeblies = Steelblitz
Back Plate = Laws
Right Shoulder Bell = O.S.C.S.
Left Shoulder Bell = Moncal (Modified)
Biceps = O.S.C.S.
Elbows = O.S.C.S.
Forearms = O.S.C.S.
Hand Plates = O.S.C.S.
Gloves = Under Armour Liners
Back Pack = Steelblitz
GM Belt = Scratch Built w/ canvas duck cloth
Pouches = Scratch Built w/ canvas duck cloth
Gray Jumpsuit (Size 2XL) = Walls work wear (light weight material)
Knee Armor = Mr. Bungle
Knee Straps = Steelblitz
Shin Armor = Mr. Bungle
Toe Armor = Mr. Bungle
Boots = Ozark Trail : Putty II (Size 10.5), Modified
The GM helmet that comes with this helmet is Heatshock (HS) helmet. This helmet took me close to one (1) year to build and complete it, as I took my time to make it a masterpiece. Keep in mind this helmet does not have a black undercoating, rather the helmet was actually scraped and gashed --- what I call "curb" weathering. Then black acrylic paint, straight up, was applied, and then wiped down with dirty rags. Once satisfied with the weathering, applied flat clear coat spray paint sealant.
The interior of the helmet contains padding and two (2) centrifugal ("squirrel cage") fans. The first fan is placed over the rear vent as to draw in and provide fresh air within the helmet and blows air over the lenses (to keep from fogging up). The second fan is installed under the "jaw" of the helmet to exhaust the warm air down out of the helmet. Each fan has its own separate switch, mounted on the sides, and are wired to a 9 volt battery.
$1200.00 + shipping
In order to build this costume you have to purchase parts from several vendors. I took this costume build very seriously, and had an artist (friend of mine) assist with the weathering. The costume also incorporates components (such as the belt and pouches) to give the costume a realistic appearance.
Shipping: Will depend on location of the buyer. I'll ship UPS insured, likely two boxes, and may be around $50 - $60 but I will get a quote once it's boxed.
