I first became interested in this costume 3 years ago and decided to finally take the plunge. What really kicked it into high gear was when I saw the GM's at Celebration VI. The costume looked great on the forums, but seeing it up close and personal made it really come to life. All the GMs I had the pleasure speaking to were extremely nice and it was a blast meeting them. Next time I go to Celebration I hope I can wear my complete GM and inspire a trooper as those I met did for me. WIP: Boots Knees, shins and boot armor Helmet DL-15s Back armor Kama Belt Chest armor, shoulder bells, pauldrons - Backpack Clone Arms - Biceps, elbows, gauntlets, and hand plates. Strapping Arm/Chest ammo boxes Left to order Coveralls Black ribbed shirt Gloves Thanks to Andrew CC 4724 for padding and Dan Tk10408 for strapping! Kenneth Cole Kilimanjaro I used Tan Camo Plasti Dip Spray to cover the soles of the shoes and I think it came out quite well.

Looks like you're off to a great start. Seriously, those KC's are the hardest part of the entire costume to acquire and you have them so you have a major piece already out of the way Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Zach,
Those boots look fantastic!
Just picked up a can of Plasti - Coat white for my Cold Assault Trooper. Was there any special procedures that you did when you applied the Plasti-Coat? Besides masking off the boots that is.

Thanks RKD!
Ken - thanks! I painted it as you'd normally spray paint anything, make sure you overlap and I was decently generous when I was spraying. Be sure to overlap and let it dry before worrying about it's appearance.

Had a few questions. What are the pants pocket dimensions? I've read 5X5 with a 1 1/2" flap. What is the size of belt for chest ammo belt? Size of arm ammo belt? A lot of work in progress. Only a few more pieces left to buy: Coveralls Black Under Armor shirt Gloves Got some more trimming done.
