Last weekend we did a 2-day event where we set up the photo backdrop and the blaster range. We collected $1420 for the local children's charity. I rocked the GM both days and got a couple photos I'm quite pleased with. This was my 2nd Z-6 built and the ARF built his with my help at the same time. The spinning barrels and lighting effects in the barrels really wowed the kids. Batman showed up and straightened me out. I would never let another Star Wars character get a picture like this but this is Batman! As always there was a lot of interest in the GM though few people knew the character by name or what movie the GM appears in. I'm still thrilled with the wearability of the costume, the durability of my build and the public reception of it. A HS helmet upgrade is in the plans (Hey, Nate! Still planning on a resculpt?) but the rest is, in my eyes, perfect.

Looking good Andy!!! Your Galactic Marine is sweet. Congratulations to you and your garrison for raising an incredible amount of money for charity. Also, gals to hear people asking and showing interest in the GM. And I can assure you, from experience, the Heatshock helmet REALLY steps the costume up a few notches.

The only way to live well is to leave immediately where it is bad.
