Ask Danrod, he helped one of his buds out and they made it work (I don't know the details). I saw it at CVI and it looked great.

Dan modded mine (RedKryat's proto) to the Laws BP there are some isses I have since found I am reworking it once the weather warms up (hard to use toxic glue and resin inside in 30 degree weather. But the main thing is securing it to the sides of the hump on the back need a bit more then Glue and Velcro alone from what I found. I am going to be looking at doing a hooked system and make it removable like the Fett backpacks which should help with storage as well.

Right now it's actually dissembled so can try and send you something when I get home. However the way DanRod did it originally was by attaching it with Velcro on the sides of the hump and insides of the BP and then using a clip at the top of the BP attached via a strap inside the backpack. This worked well however in high heat/humidity the Velcro has a tendency to fail (the glue).
My new plan is to either:
A.) Rivet the sides to the hump with 2 rivets (top and bottom of the sides) with a clip at the top to help distribute the weight. The drawback here is that with this it's become a much more permanent attachment and it's much harder to store. B.)my preferred plan is to create a frame inside the shell and have it hook in to the top of the hump. This would make the back pack removable and easier to store.

did you have to stretch the side of the base around the hump and is it flush with the back piece

The sides were stretched but not by much just enough to ensure that the sides fully enveloped the hump so it was no longer visible.

wow i don't know the piece has to spread quite a bit i wonder if the base you have was a little wider.there is no way that piece will fit over the hump and cover it all the way.

Sorry was going to send you a PM, but Adam explained it in a nutshell. It was not hard at all, and you could not even tell that I pulled the base of the back pack out a bit. The only problem we had was is Adam stated, the glue on the velcro failed in the Orlando heat.

Some hump showing on the sides. It will not cover the whole hump.
