What are you trying to do? The vent in the helmet can be used for fans to provide air flow, thats how mine is set up, I would use a speaker system set up away from the helmet to prevent feedback, mine is in my chest plate. it prevent the feed back from being so close to the mic, and you can adjust the volume better.

You can use a mic with a little amp. In my case I'd be able to install a little amp or speaker in one of my front pouches since they are made of canvas and they are hollow so they have room for a little amp or speaker. The flat belly in the chest plate should also provide enough room for this. And if you don't mind in the sound coming from the front, you could also use the backpack where you'll probably have plenty of room.

well the feed back can be prevented by using one of the front bags for the amp and attach to it a small speaker in the back of the chest using the round button to hide the speaker. i only want more air to ensure the confort inside the helmet. i have done a lightweight backpack to carry a heavy battery or batteries. i want to know if someone has a custom circuit that can be assembled and can do the two jobs: carry the voice outside like the ones hasbro sells and get the sound into the helmet for better audition.

I have used computer fans attached at the vent of the helmet on each side powered by 9 volt batteries fixed inside my helmet, no problems and alot of air flow!!!!
