Hi Teabo,
My "attaching system" is asymmetrical. On one side I use two hinges. One in the top of the armor, and the other one in the bottom. The chest armor has the "male" half of the hinge while the back has the "female". I slide one part over the other and it is ok, attaches relatively easy. On the right side, I have two slots in an "inner" strip of plastic, and two tabs that I snap into those slots. I apologize this so hard to explain, but I don't have pictures here right now.
The system used to be a little tricky but with a few tweaks and a little more experience it proved to be effective, sturdy, and mainly, easy to put on and of. I do it by myself and it has a 2mm seam.
Another option I was considering was to use rare earth magnets in bands or tabs that would serve as guides, sliding the tabs through a slot in the other part of the armor and then the magnets would keep everything in place.
I'm sure there must be several other systems there.
I wonder if you understand what I said without pics... it's really messy. Please let me know and I'll try to be clearer.

I found them. Repeat: I've found them!. This is the right side. I just put the parts together and with a little pressure they snap in and done and slide a little to the back to keep in place. To remove, I just press and slide to the front. It was tricky at first to put on and off, but after 5 minutes of tweaking it works perfect now. And this is the left side. I just align the hinges and slide them. Easy to put on, extremely easy to put off. Please note that this was at an early stage. There have been more trimmings in the chest and back since that moment, that's why this looks that rough. I also have some kind of straps over the shoulders. This would be harder to explain.
