im using this helmet as a master and not to wear so it doesnt have to be strong with bondo, im letting the clay dry out and then im going to seal it in, and im using a ton of pictures and some of the toys as references, im just using heatshocks example for the face, it seems he has made the best face for a cowl to fit. im going to mold it, for general shape and the large details, then detail it as i go from there. the mold im going to make is only going to get the main details, and ive fixed some of the abnormalities and shape earlier today just ve to use my hands and abilities to try to make everything symetrical and right looking.

Then I can't do more than to wait and see when you come up with in your next step.
The bondo does not make things necessarily stronger, actually it tends to crack if it's not applied over a sturdy surface. It is more of a filling/finishing material. In your case, the objective of bondo would be to make a better, smoother surface from the rough shapes you have.
I don't know other material to do that, so I can hardly give any further advice since I still don't understand how you plan to get an even, smooth and accurate shape from that rough one.
The only thing I can still tell you is that the opening for the face should be of around 55% from the total height.
Good luck.

vacuum former worked but the plastic didnt, im afraid that the heating unit i made couldnt heat it up enough to form anything so ill have to back up and punt tomorrow and try to get some stuff done. everything else worked well but i guess ill just have to wait and see with the heater.
