I think it looks better now, the shape is more accurate, but can't tell you if it is accurate enough for approval. Most backpacks out there are more accurate. The one I'm building is also more accurate, so there is more accuracy you can reach if you want to try. And regarding references, allow me to share with you something that I have learned the hard way (because it is making me re-build many parts of my armor, including my helmet!!) and I can't stress it enough: DO NOT TAKE REFERENCES PICS FROM OTHER BUILDS, even if they are approved by the 501st. IMO, other builds may become very handy for "inner parts", or to see how other marines have resolved issues like attaching the armor, assembly, or so, but for the shapes, sizes and proportions, please refer to: first, the movie (I know, I know, just a few frames and not very clear), and in second place, the "official" reference pics (360º turnaround, Sith snapshot, action figure back card, etc.). I know they are all in lo res and many parts are really hard to see, but they are the only accurate images around there. All this, specially if you are building from scratch, where you may able to even improve what's already there. Good luck and forgive me/us if we are becoming a little picky. And as you have already noticed, we are here for any question. tangofett is right, the GM is not the easy build out there (like at TK or something), we all learned hard lessons in the beginning and make changes on our cossie from time to time. Just keep up the hard work and asks us everything and anything as you progress, we are here to help make sure that you get along in your build!!!!!

Dear danrodjr, at the time i´m working on the elbows. attaching the strap at the top of them, no more in the middle. Pics will come. Also there are new shoulderbells in progress. After that, i´ll start to get the forearms like the should be.... seamless. Then there are only the new pouches above the knees and a little work on the shoes. I can´t wait for the comments about it when i´m finished with it. You all are really a great help. Many thanks to you all. Yours Philip

Hello there, here we go again...... today with my new elbows and my new Shoulderbell ( the right one). imageshack.us/photo/my-images/26/ellbowsshoulderright.jpg/On the elbows i attached the strap at the top and no more in the middle as it used to be. The shoulderbell got a new piece ( about 1" ) to make it larger. Shure, it needs to be paintet, but i´ll paint all new parts in one way. What do you think? I´m glad about your messages, because i wouldn´t know what to do without you. Till next time ( new pauldrons and belt pouches i guess ) Philip

Dear danrodjr, great pictures !!!!!! The shoulderbell will be made like that, i promise I also made a mistake by the old one, because there are only five loops on it.. but it must be six. right? Till then, best wishes. Yours Philip

Yes Phillip, the consensus is 6 loops. Regarding thickness and size, if you play around with the contrast and brightness of the "Sith Snapshot" image, you may get an accurate idea of the loops.
