I had discussed this with Steelblitz (whom extensively studied the film footage for making his GM parts and accessories to be as accurate as possible). The belt should be a tan color and this color should match the color of the backpack pouches. I constructed my own GM belt and pouches out of canvas / ductcloth to make it look as realistic as possible. Could not bear to watch as my friend (known as the Weatherman) took the belt and pouches to the pavement and driveway to beat them up and weather them.

Mine is White, though heavily Battle damaged so it also has lots of Gray and Black.

I use the same paint on my pouches/belt as I used for my boot soles. It's an offwhite/tan acrylic paint named "goosedown". I'm waiting for some pics to post from SDCC last week, once they're up I'll post

I really think the pouches and the belt are a light gray color, not white or tan. That's just me, though
