Aye it really is time consuming, but its worth it in the end lol The V1 probably has 80 solid hours of work time into it, and its very rough. Then again, I planned on reproducing them because I wanted to see more helmets alike then different.

I remember a couple occasions I actually just watched the primer dry tryin to figure out what to work on next... a many a wasted weekends
(Edit) On a sidenote:
Picked up a whole mess of supplies today(anxious I am lol)
Fiberglass Resin Bondo Tape Bunches of sandpaper
Sheet of Foam Rubber(Helmet padding) Styrene Sheets(Not sure of thickness of the top of my head)
Ordered: Silicon Casting Resin

Well camera is broken, but the good news is the helmet was in better shape than I had hopes, it was just spray painted a... redish color? lol Been sanding the entire thing over, im impressed with how well it maintained its shape in the crazy texas heat. It does now have the base for a taller neck ring, and a good portion of the front of the helmet is to be chopped off. Uploaded with ImageShack.usJust thought a teaser using an old photo and the new mods would be nice
