Bring some life into an old forum lol. I reformatted it so that I could tweak it and print 1:1 to build it. The model comes from BFII, so no credit for me. Pandemic did a hell of a good job on it. Anywho, the plan right now is to clean it up, and print the major components, only things Ill have to add are pvc pipe for "barrels" and a couple other odds and ends I have laying around.

Hey Echo, thanks for bringing this thread back to life. This is an excellent model (Yes I admit, considering I'm not a big fan of "Tris" when it comes to modeling). It will be awesome to see this in a 1:1 scale.

So working form reference pics, I have got the measurements for the entire gun to be about 1016mm(40"). Does that sound right? It may be a little longer, depending on how much barrel sticks out of the circular end piece.

No pics yet, yea, im slackin a bit lol. I must say... proportionately the gun looks good when holding it,and should be really troop-friendly. I had a hard time determining the size, as the BFII ref sucks, but if you look for a screen shot of one form TCW, it looks dead on.
EDIT: Got rid of huge pic.

Sorry for the double post. Well, its goin really good so far, the arm cradle works awesomely. The length is coming along right, and so the only thing left to do is create a couple discs to hold the 6 3/4"(I think) barrels in place, and add the greeblies. Whats in red is what is done so far. Next thing, aside from what I already mentioned is the trigger.... personally the coolest part of it lol.

Moving along, got the trigger put together today, as well as the mag drum. But due to the rainy weather, resining them will be on hold.

Looking nice. To avoid all the double posts, click on modify and add on to the previous post.
I'm looking forward to seeing this badboy finished.

Sorry long time no update, works been keepin me too busy to get much done on any of the projects. The Gun is only lacking the extra greeblies and the barrels now, so hopefully it will be done soon, and Ill upload some pics.

Ok, well the base is done, well roughly. However, the length is only 40". I need to know any thoughts and opinions about length. In the BFII game its HUGE and impractical, but I need to know if you all think in terms of carrying the beast around while trooping, should I leave it at 40" or kick it up to 50"?
EDIT>> Well, it looks like the 40" is gonna be the best route after all lol. With the rough version still needing to be bondoed(before I can vac form the pieces) its already pretty heavy as is. Vac formed it will still be hefty. Im tryin to keep it practical, to where Id want to carry it.
Good news though. If all goes well Ill have the base ready for "display" soon enough.
