yeah, sorry guys. Sgtcarida made the backpack. You can PM him on the 501st forums if you're a member, he's usually around. He wanders through here occasionally too.
I'll try to get some pics of it up at least.

thought I've post a pic of my behind for posterity (or posterior?) sake. Some have asked about Sgtcarida's backpack, and this was made entirely by him:

Hey Phil, could you post pictures of the Wally's Backpack rig. I was wondering how your pack is attached to the back plate.
Thanks, man.

lol, sooner or later. I'm sooo lazy. I actually just got back from a gig for a Kevin J. Anderson signing. He was really friendly.
Mine backpack is literally a strap around my torso that connects in front. Tied to that are two more straps with snap-buckles on them. Those two straps come up my chest (from around the nipple area) and go over my shoulders. The backpack has two corresponding straps coming out of it that snake through the backplate and connect to those on my chest.

Cool. Thanks for the advice on the straps. I still have no idea how to make mine.

Thanks for posting it as I have been trying to work out how I was going to attach mine.

Alrighty, lots of updates in anticipation of San Diego Comic-Con. UFORTUNATELY... I need to renew my web hosting for my website so I can pop some pics up for everybody But here are the highlights: - new shin/boot armor from Mr.Bungle - new OSCS clone hand plates - re-vinyled belt and boxes (need fresh start on the weathering) - new, custom-sewn coveralls with correct belly and great fit (very excited about this, really brings the costume up a notch) - leather nyghtcraft pauldron - trimmed lower edge of the helmet to shorten it and will install inner off-white armor/cheek piece - HOPING to have a hyperfirm rifle soon (anyone selling???) Hope to have pics up in the next week Thanks for reading! Phil

When you say "correct belly" what do you mean? I'm about to have mine sewn up and want to avoid any inaccuracies.

I only mean that the belly will be seamless, just a grey stretch of material. I meant more 'correct compared to the inaccurate one I've got now' rather than 'correct because all of you are doing it wrong' lol
Funny thing is that when worn correctly, with the belt boxes snug under the chest plate, you can barely see the belly. It's a LOT of crotch though lol

The harness system I used for the backpack was one I got off of TDH for a Fett set-up. Nothing fancy.
On the front of the coverall's that Phil has I put a zipper and a velcro piece overtop so I could "do my buiz" while in uniform. It isn't accurate but works.

Thanks Wally the backpack setup is simple but it does work very well. The two things I want to fix are using backpack straps with padding that's easier on my armpits lol and making is so the chest harness threads OUT the backplate instead of having to thread the backpack straps into the backplate And the new jumpsuit doesn't have a potty hole, things are going to be difficult lol Can't wait to get some pics up Phil
