Just picked up some sweet Kama material it's a vinylized cloth. It has great movement to it and seems extremely durable. The best part, it was only $6 a yard. I'll see if I can't get some pics up for you guys to check out.

Where did you pick this material up? I would be interested in using the same type.

Where did you pick this material up? I would be interested in using the same type. It was at Joanne Fabrics. I was looking through the entire store, but couldn't find a match for the Krylon Satin Burgandy. As a last ditch effort I went to the back of the store where they keep the remnants and closeout stuff. I found it buried under a bunch of tablecloth fabrics. I apologize for the last pic, dirty mirror Now go easy on me, I made this in less than a couple hours of picking up the material. I've never made a Kama before, but I think it's pretty darn close to screen accurate. Notice the way it falls and ripples. It's got a great weight to it, yet it's not hot to wear. It's a Plum color; it doesn't match the Burgandy, but instead, compliments it. If I weather the Burgandy paint with some black, it should darken it a bit and make the two match more closely.

That is nice. Like you mentioned, I don't think the color will matter much after you battle damage you GM.

Actually, I ended up going to Home Depot and picked up a couple cans of Claret Wine. It's a PERFECT match! It's like they were made to go togethter. So now everything will be uniform and correct. I wasn't really happy with the Satin Burgandy, it was too red and too bright.

do you know what the name of the material is. I would like to get to Joann's and pick up some of it for my costume.
