krenn, do not spread yourself out too thin. Pick one costume & stay with it until completion. Buy it piece by piece, and then you will have a complete costume done over time. My Endor Rebel Commando (Return Of The Jedi) costume took me a whole year to complete! That's what I'm doing with my GM too. It's a good hobby because it teaches patience & perseverance. It would be way too expensive to buy a whole costume all at once.

i use a tote with wheels and pack the armor up using the soft parts to custion the armor and possible break parts, blaster e-11 packs well the dc15 rifle er differnt story and if take a airplane pack armor to expect it to be thrown around

Thanks for the Head's up. Oh well, I have 10-11 months (if it's in Florida) to figure out how to pack it up. If all else fails, I might just have to end up going with my Jedi outfit (GASP! That's Blasphemy).
Might probably get together with some friends and roadtrip it to be able to take my armor with no problem, and dress up at any pitstops we make.

...Does that mean you just volunteered your self to pay for the shipping of my armor and blaster to C:V?

hey Lloyd, can you post pictures of your blaster broken down in 2 halves? I'd like to see what it looks like that way.
Thanks.

I know lots of troopers who use those hard shelled golf club carriers to ship their armor in. I imagine even the blaster might fit in one of those.

I'll have to give that some thought.
