See, I like the ALICE pack idea, since it's pretty much already ready. Plus, military hardware is durable as hell. That thing will be around longer than you will... That's exactly why I thought about it. Just not sure how it will look wearing it because of the shape of the GM backplate.

Magnets are a pretty neat idea too. I guess I am just old fashioned, but I am definitely going to use webbing or some sort of strapping system that I design. The magnets are awesome, especially if they are really strong magnets, but here's the thing with that for me: one really good push could dislodge it. There is nothing actually holding it on.

That's cool. But remember, Gree doesn't have a full-sized backpack, just pieces (dual thermal detonators, and possibly those two boxes that are side-by-side and look like a guitar effects pedal).

I see one small problem with the alice pack idea. Weight, albeit they are very durable, but at a cost and that is the weight. you would have to also build the back pack around the frame which may make the backpack larger that what is needed.

Yeah, money alone I won't be using one. I like the idea, like I said, I myself will definitely be building my own strapping system. That way, nothing can go wrong with compatability or issues like that.

If I do end up going with the Frame, I will have to MOD it.

WOW! Thanks for the info on your pack's Harness, Boba. Your pictures will definitely come in very useful. I defiantly need to get cracking on my pack if I'm have it ready in time for Wizard World Anaheim.

Thanks for the tip on the Video. I doubt it's embarrassing since you manged to get a video of the rig and it works. It'll be much more embarrassing if I posted the same video of me doing the rig not knowing anything about it. ...Do you mind if I place the video here?
