Character-wise, I would rather do Jedi or rebels, but to me, it is WAY harder to get a really accurate looking costume in which the majority of it is cloth. With hard plastic, it comes VERY close to screen perfect if you take your time.

I like doing the Jedi costuming because it's simple (even though it can get expensive to do a good one). Although I have custom made boots and the belt, it's still very expensive and to be honest mine is not even cannon. My Tunic is hand made (though not exactly my size), the Tabbards are a bit too long, and my claok is short. On top of that my troupe is a Lightsaber club, so not only do I look good in the Jedi out fit, I can actually spin a saber and make the costume look better.
The reason why I'm drawn to the GM is just becasue I'm a USMC Vet, and because I'm a Star Wars fan the GM combines both.

That's really cool. I am (have been) drawn to the GM because as I said, I love the look of the plastic armor costumes, but the GM is not full body plastic. Also, they are one of the very few TK/TC type costumes that don't look like everything else. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing both the TK's and the TC's, but the GM is just so different.

The GM is probably the best looking Clone armor around. Funny, I never really like the snowtroopers in the original trilogy, and the GM I do. Considering the armor is very similar.

Strange isn't it? I like both TS and GM's. Im not really picky. I can honestly say that there isn't a canon hard plastic type trooper out there that I don't like. But I do love the Gm's. I think my favorites would go (and in this order) EP II TC, GM, TK (sand actually).

I read all or any of the Star Wars comics. I was just reading a newer issue (a couple issues old) of Rebellion. What I would kill to do in a costume is the Rebel Special Forces armor from that issue. I will see if I can find a picture. I was like the marine, a nice combination of hard and soft parts, which looks like it would be pretty nice for a convention. Comic cover on this page: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Rebellion_11:_Small_Victories%2C_Part_1

When the page comes up, just type "Rebellion 11" in the left hand search menu. I just tried that and it worked.
I just tried to put another link up here and apparently Wookieepedia is being gay and not letting the whole link getting hyperlinked on our little forum page here.
