Been debating whether or not to scratch-build or just save myself the stress, tears and tantrums and just get myself a kit. The PA carbines look awesome, but It's always satisfying to save the $$$'s and DIY...

You know DT, I am usually the same way. I would rather make something (if I can) than buy it, but if I find a piece or armor section that someone offers at a reasonable price and looks good, I will just buy it. I bought a PA awhile back and finished it awhile back (only thing I have left is the grey paint spots) and I love it. The weight, while a little heavy, is just awesome in comparison to what I imagine the real rifle would feel like and the craftsmanship on them is awesome. They weren't that bad on the price either ($138 with shipping).
