Oh I forgot to mention it is about 53 inches long and it is not to badly off from being proportioned right.

It's pretty much amazing what you can do with wood preston. I'm in awe. 53 inches is just fine with me. I took out a yardstick just to give me an idea of how big this baby is, and wow. That's one big gun

It's looking really good at this point, but I'm wondering if the triangle piece in the middle should be that large. On a lot of the guns I've seen made that is the detail people normally mess up the most on and make it look massive. Other than that it looks fantastic

I am using wizardofflights bluprints to make this mostly. Well not his blueprints but his line drawings and with using the proportion that triangle peice is just the right size. The triangle should be slightly larger than twice the size of the part that comes off of the end of the gun. If you take that parts height and double it and then add about an eighth of an inch then it is corret. That is what I did. So it should be proportioned right. If I get enough feedback saying it is too high then I will change it.
I will tak e apollo as 1 who wants it smaller.

If you did the math and that's the way it's supposed to be then you're probably right. The thing that's making it look weird to me might just be caused by the fact that it's not completely fleshed out yet and doesn't have all of the "heft" it will when finished. Just to be safe I'd check those proportions with an actual cg image. WOF's templates are great but we're all human

Do you have a good CG image? I can't find one I double checked WOF's template and I am indeed correct but If you have a good CG image from the movie I am willing to check that out.

No need. I checked it myself against a screen cap, and when all the other stuff is on there it should look right. So that's one time I was dead wrong lol. Again, nice work!

Wow youngling, that's starting (no offense) to look REALLY good. Really fleshed out and painted and it looks awesome.

Is this an epII or an epIII rifle. I don't think there's much of a difference, and I don't really know what that difference is. I was just wondering

This is an EP3 rifle. I do not think there is any difference but I am using screen shots from EP3 so I guess you could say it is an EP3 rifle.
