I honestly think that if you guys are serious about the stock idea, that rare earth magnets would be your best bet.

Gotta say, I made one out of sintra for a custom gun (sintra is a bad idea btw, way too thick for this kind of thing) and making the screws tight was all I had to do. Magnets would definitely help, but I'm not sure how important they are

I find it very strange that as I read this there is an ad for magnets at the top of the page. Probably won't be there when anyone else reads it though...

That's awesome. Especially since all the ads here are random. Although, I noticed a pattern. If you mention certain key words, the ad at the top will show certain similiar things that it finds. Like if everyone says "Darth Vader" at least once every post, something about Darth Vader will come up.

I looked through this thread and didn't see mention of a length of the rifle. Does anyone know what the generally agreed upon accurate length is?

Length without stock extended? Just the carbine body itself? I have one of the PA carbine kits. I can measure it if you want me to.

yes, without the stock extended. I just want to know how long the body with the barrel is. Measuring a PA kit would be great since someone said they are spot on for proportion
