Hi all! I´m starting with my WIP today - even though I´ve started with the materials a couple of days ago... I can show some pics - from the time when this huge parcel arrives (thanks for transaction between UK and Germany ;-) ) ´til now: After cutting off all overlaying edges, these are the first finished parts: with gloves: Some difficulties to fit the parts for the forearm armor together ... took several sorts of glue but now they are combined: I´m a lucky one ´cause back and chest armor fits me right as they are so I just tightened the edges and primed them already: I cutted rips out for shoulder straps holding back and chest together by using press-studs: First contact with helmet :-) Right now I´m searching for the right shoes (reitereted issue) so I stopped with the lower leg armor: Maybe these are the right shoes: That´s all for now :-) Greetz Steffi

Congratulations Steffi!!. Great job!!!. I love your kit and what you've done so far!!. That Heatshock helmet is amazing and is 60% of the cool looking of your GM...
The forearm looks perfect! (no seams or details visible!). Remember that you won't be needing the compad in the forearm.
That white material folded is for the cowl?
Good luck and please keep us updated with your work!!

Hi! Many thanks for given me the first feedback! Honestly I benefit from the work we (mostly my boyfriend) had with his ARC and now with the Bacara he made. And the pictures showing the forearms were out of focus, so here are some new - and yes there are seams The white material is some kind of vinyl for the cowl, yes. Working with the helmet will be a challenge and I need time to get better with painting. Next thing to do: Finishing the belt boxes And the shins Before that one question has to be answered: Are these acceptable shoes??? Just knowing that I have to change color and upper. Please let me know Steffi

I'd suggest that you contact your GML regarding the boots, but for what I've seen, more inaccurate boots have been approved. The 501st CRL states that they need to have 4 swoops and yours have more. But you still have the big arch and thew two swoops in the heel. I'd suggest you "round" a little the top of the slots/swoops (round file, or rotary tool sander like Dremel) so they look more similar to the Kenneth Cole. I like that the sole color is not white for what I can see in the pictures. That is positive since they should be tan color. Please keep us updated with your work!!.

Wow ... time is running! After going through really good explanations within my WIP on blizzardforce (thanks to Tango Fett) it comes down that I have to wash my white belt and the pouches with black tea ;-) so it will be more nature colored to brownish/tanish. But that will be later Now here are some pics up to date: Overall with pockets on the front sides. Ha ha - yes these are funny socks ... Helmet with primer and first color Other parts after paint job And some parts are even weathered! Party on!

Yes - I´m still working on my GM Here are some pics to show you my work ´til now: That is how it looks two weeks ago... meanwhile the Kama is finished: I´ve chosen the version without white edges and I´ve worked on the elbow armor because they looked just like some kind of "wings" Just take a look to some more details: - the clue for the backpack; so it is removeable from the back armor and direct connected to the bib overall - the pouches at the backpack are connected with press buttons: - the elbow strapping is done and also is the padding: - the knees are connected to the bib overall with some kind of velcro: - the belt with the ammo boxes for the chest armor, connected with press buttons to make it removeable: - strapping and padding for the shoulder bell armor: - belt with ammo boxes for the upper arm amor: Three construction sites ahead: - helmet: I´m worried about starting with the cowl - shoes: the shoe armor is ready but I´ve to prepare the shoes. I have to fold them in vinyl/synthetic leather - epaulet: different ideas to create it on my own ... ´cause of my narrow shoulders

What we´ve done last weekend: and weathered a lot of things :-) Here are the results of this weekend: Weathered the cowl The shoes are nearly complete And this is the epaulet massacre with primer I think I will cover the epaulet with some kind of vinyl instead painting. This makes it not so bad looking ...I hope so. But it fits even better than before Well ... so after getting this done my GM is ready -- yeahhh!!

This weekend we nearly finished my GM!! We just have to find out how to fix the epaulets to the armor, so I had to put on the whole armor - for sure :-) but we couldn´t find a solution for this in the moment But I love it so far ...
